THE CRYSTAL DIFFERENCE
At Crystal Airways, we understand that Business Travelers are fed up
with the "business-as-usual" mentality of the major
airlines. To that end, we are going to great lengths to improve
the travel situation for Business Travelers. Among the
areas we will address are:
Only
First Class-style seating (4-abreast) throughout the cabin
- No sardine seats here! Our seating configuration
features seats that are greater than 20 inches internal
width (as opposed to 17 inches on other airlines' coach
seats) and seat spacing (pitch) of 42.5 to 43 inches (as
compared to as little as 28 inches on other airlines).
Additionally, our aircraft will have six (6) coat closets
spaced throughout the cabin with room for a total of 113
hang-up bags. Crystal Airways will also eliminate overhead bins,
utilizing under-seat stowage areas and on-board closets, thereby giving
our guests more personal space than any other airline
in existence!

One
Flight Attendant for every 11.5 guests (on our Boeing B-757-200
aircraft) as opposed to up to 50 to 1 (or more) on some
airlines! This equates to the lowest passenger
to Flight Attendant ratio in the airline industry!
Real
hot meals served on selected flights of over three hours
in length (not carrot sticks and pretzels)! Additionally,
each meal flight will offer a variety of entree choices
that can be selected at the time you make your reservation!
Two
(2) four-place conference areas, with a table, in the
front of the cabin, one on each side! These areas
will be partially closed off from the rest of the cabin
for greater privacy during an in-flight meeting.
The table can be moved up for conference meetings or down
to a coffee table height.
Gourmet
coffee service, including espresso, on all flights (including
specialty coffees such as French Vanilla, Costa Rican
Peaberry and others)!
Laptop
computer power outlets, "on-demand" audio and
video selections, high-speed Internet access to check e-mail,
the latest business news, stock quotes or sports scores, available at each
guest seat! Additionally, we are looking into the
installation of LiveTV™ at each guest seat, giving each guest up to
24 channels of network and cable television.
Access
to an in-flight fax machine to send and/or receive faxes
during the flight!
No
overbooking of flights - EVER! When you pay for
a seat on Crystal, you're guaranteed a seat on Crystal!
Convenient
flight schedules to major business centers!
A
single fare for each flight - No advance purchases, no
Saturday-night stays, no fine print - One market, one
fare, always!
Fares
that are, on average, 40% below the standard, unrestricted
Coach Class fares on the major airlines! (Approximately
the fare levels of 4-5 years ago).
An
in-flight and airport staff, trained with emphasis on courtesy and
dealing effectively with guests, that will courteously assist
you, both in-flight and upon arrival at your destination,
with transfers to other Crystal Airways flights, other
airline flights, hotel reservations and even rental cars
- Truly "door-to-door" service!
To
put it mildly, Crystal Airways will be like no other airline
you've ever flown! We won't be the cheapest airline
in any market; we won't be the most expensive, but we will
be the best overall value for the discriminating Business
Traveler!
